Instant Pot Box

Instant Pot purchased 11/2019 from Kohls.com

The Instant Pot has been making news for over a year in the world of kitchen appliances. There were posts all over social media over the Christmas 2018 season with this popular buy.

I am barely domesticated and I waited to jump on the bandwagon. I know how to cook, but I am also a mom that supports cereal for dinner. Saving money is critical, and because I am motivated to do so, I made this purchase to increase the ease of meal prep and the likelihood that I will cook at home….more often.

This model of the Instant Pot retails for almost $100!

Check out the breakdown below to see how this purchase cut that price in half!

Instant Pot Purchase Breakdown
  • Sale Price on 11/11/19 @ http://www.kohls.com $79.99
  • Veterans Day Discount ($10)
  • Kickoff15 Discount ($9)
  • Entertain10 Discount ($10)
  • Free Shipping ($8.95)
  • After all of the discounts applied, the resulting total is: $54.05
    • That’s a savings of almost 46% off Retail

The purchase resulted in earning $10 Kohls Cash for use either in-store or online. Therefore, reducing the total out of pocket expense to $44.05.

*I bought a cute clearance Nike Tank and utilized that benefits* Read more about Kohl’s Cash: HERE

Because I am barely domesticated, I waited to jump on the bandwagon. I know how to cook, but I am also a mom that supports cereal for dinner. I love saving money, and because I am motivated to so so, I wanted to make this purchase to increase the ease of meal prep and the likelihood that I will cook at home….more often.

The purchase required a payment of $54.05 Luckily, Ibotta allows for a withdrawal of funds in the form of various gift cards and Paypal.

Ibotta Payout Options

Ibotta held a balance of just over $75 available for withdrawal. Transferring $55 of the savings transferred to PayPal covered the cost of the Instant Pot and completed the transaction. $20-$25 is required for several withdrawal options.
