Happy Kotter Book and Program Review: Always Eat After 7 Week 4

Welcome to Week 4 of the Always Eat After 7 Review.

Let’s review my personal goals going into this program.

  1. Improved Sleep Patterns.
  2. Increased energy throughout the day.
  3. Eliminate intense hunger cravings.

Sleep patterns have improved and by incorporating enhanced diet guidelines and increasing physical activity I am noticing improved circadian rhythm.

By adjusting diet and physical activity, I have been able to stay energized throughout the day instead of experiencing burst of energy followed by steep crashes caused by things like high sugar and caffeine consumption.

Following a filling and satisfying eating regimen, intense hunger cravings have not been an issue once my body adjusted to not being given a ton of nutrient poor foods and incorporating more fresh, healthy, and filling meals.

The argument presented by Joel:

“Research shows that the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. Whether it’s 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way.”

Based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night.
